Ok, for those of you who have been watching my Fanfiction.net account hoping for an update on this fic, I have news for you... I've decided that Tales of Phantasia's part in it will be removed. Miguel Albien Jr. and Amy Barklight, as well-developed as they are, have been removed. I'm still writing the fic, it's just gonna' be a while...

Holy shit my wish of Yuri and Flynn having a cooperative mystic arte came true o_O;; There's a cut-in screenshot for the PS3 port. Go to:

abyssal chronicles > gallery > Tales of Vesperia >;PS3 port

Careful what you wish for, I guess, hahah. I notice that while they give us an entirely new character, there is no confirmation whether or not Flynn's playable entirely. Curse you, Bamco!

They are, but maybe you'll be able to find one used ... which I'm sure is still pricey, but it'd be less expensive than a brand new one. If I were you, I'd hold off getting one until/unless the PS3 goodies are confirmed to be available to Xboxers as downloadable content. There's no reason why it can't be DLC; and while you'd still have to pay, it'd be cheaper than getting a whole new console system.

I'm not so hot about the new Patty character, though. Her battle style is pretty much ripped from the Pirate class in Radiant Mythology 2, and I can't imagine them wanting to revise half the game because of the addition of a new character. I still want Flynn as a permanent, developed character. Foooooo.

For the new stuff, Repede should be able to be the onscreen character.

Magic. jk. But it wouldn't be impossible. Repede's already shown himself to be remarkably intelligent, using a dagger and using items on people who need them. He even takes down opposition at all the right times (like in order to keep the gate open at Deidon Hold), so I don't think it'd be outrageous for him to prop himself on his hind legs, lean on the wall and turn a door knob with his mouth.

Or the screen can just either momentarily black out and show the opened door, or just show the next character stacked after Repede opening it.

It's been confirmed that Repede's onscreen now (trailer), so they would have to figure out a way for him to open doors. Or use the Sorcerer's Ring.

Repede just got ten times more epic~
